Liaison engineer to the government of the federal state of Hamburg / Germany for operations and constructions of new railway lines in northern Germany.
Mai 1979 to January 1982:
German Federal Ministry of Transport. Responsible for economic evaluation of rail network
February 82 through December 88:
Deputy Managing Director of Mass Transit Authority of Frankfurt / Germany (commuter rail, Metro systems, busses and light rail).
1988 to 1991:
Senior Officer at the Office of the Management Board of Deutsche Bundesbahn DB
1991 to 1993:
Chairman of the DB (German Railways) owned ferry line operator DFO in the Baltic Sea
